TS Industrie carefully selects engines that aim to achieve a significant reduction in nitrogen oxides and particulates. Thus all our engines between 18 and 35 KW comply with Tier 3 emission standards – Level 3 A:

• Non-road diesel fuel ready
• Improved fuel combustion and reduced unburned particles
• Reduced sulphur gases help to lessen greenhouse gases
• Particle emission limited to 0.2 g/Kw/h
• 40% reduction of nitrogen oxides (NOx) – max. 4 g/Kw/h (instead of 6 g per Kw/h with the Tier 2 version)

Some TS Industrie chipper-shredders are fitted with KOHLER KDI 2504TCR 75 CV engines, Level 3 B approved, without the need for a particle filter.

• 2000 bar Common Rail, one of the most highly charged engines on the market
• Low noise levels (injection electronics, engine block, cylinder head, low engine speeds)
• 500-hour service interval
• Low diesel consumption due to the common rail and electronic management systems
• Good engine torque
