“M. Klaus Reichelt, manager of Grün und Gruga in charge of the preservation and development of urban green spaces, including parks, public gardens, cemeteries and the famous GrugaPark of the city of Essen, Germany (Ruhr district, surface 210 km²), has been using TS INDUSTRIE™ wood chippers since 1986.
Our main activity is green space maintenance, including public parks, cemeteries and forest areas of the city of Essen. Thus we are handling all sorts of green waste, tree-branches and plants. We are currently using 15 wood chippers and shredders of TS INDUSTRIE™, different models, employing them in different city areas with the main goal to reduce the final volume of green waste. When possible, we resell wood chips to be later used for ecological heating. What is not sold is used as mulch. We have recently tested a VIPER 50 DRI multi-vegetation chipper-shredder from TS INDUSTRIE™, which was mainly employed in hedge and thuja trimming, … different types of plants can be shredded quickly and easily without damaging the blades. Efficient and ergonomic due to its large hopper with a feeding conveyor-belt, the VIPER 50 DRI facilitates the work with smaller branches and plants. Its electric commands and security system are simple-to-use. Finally, the shredded mass is easily recycled and thus can be left on site as mulch.”
